HI,

I'm John from down in Devon.

For far too long now I've been renovating a Victorian end-of-terrace that makes a lie of the notion "they really knew how to build well in the old days" as I've discovered walls built without overlapping bricks, right angle walls and chimney breasts not tied-in and better foundations for a garden shed. Still, it keeps me out of the pub!

Next job is to build some decking and a summerhouse so will post a question in the appropriate section about that soon.

Paignton is my part of Devon where it's already too hot to sit outside (not that I'm complaining).
