There is a move towards CO2 as a refrigerant in other applications too, cars amongst others.

Been running a Sanyo one for 6 years. 

 

Pros - better cold weather performance

 

Cons - limited support. Most engineers don’t have the high pressure kit to service them

I'm confused.

 

That Denso link talks about air to water, but then talks about air as the distribution medium, so surely it's air to air?  Very confusing website.
