That'll take the ache out of backache. A bit anyhoo Ever seen the film Multiplicity???? lol Actually got a mate helping me for 2 days next week so will get him on the mixer. Otherwise I'll just stick the radio on, zone out and just crack on with it

Gravity, and the correct mix is your friend. ?
Vijay Posted June 12, 2018 Author Posted June 12, 2018 Really struggled with getting the mix down the gaps today, had to get the mix incredibly wet and then it just about went down. I'm certain in places it wouldn't have filled the gaps
Mr Punter Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 Relax it will not be an issue. Add more cement and water, maybe with some plasticiser / washing up liquid. Also, hose pipe over everything. You could do nothing and it will still be OK. Remember that most sites probably don't bother.
Vijay Posted June 12, 2018 Author Posted June 12, 2018 I'm not gonna loose any sleep over it cos it's done lol But got loads more to do so will try what you've suggested
Moira Niedzwiecka Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 We did ours a few weeks ago. Quite easy once you get the mix right. One of us mixing & pouring & one brushing. I went over the floor the next day with a wallpaper scraper to remove any small lumps so it was smooth for the DPM.
