Guest Alphonsox Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Many Congratulations - What swung the appeal for you ?
janedevon Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Welcome Devon here too and ive never heard of a planning department being as slow as this. comgrats
dimpsy Posted June 27, 2016 Author Posted June 27, 2016 Thanks all Jane if your dealing with Torridge I feel your pain. Alphonsox what swung the appeal probably had something to do with the mindless refusal which was "The development is reliant on a car to access services and is therefore considered to be environmentally unsustainable resulting in additional CO2 emissions" and "The horizontal emphasis of the fenestration is out of character with the village" The house is almost to passive standard the car journey to town 2.2miles and the village has just about a bit of everything when it comes to architecture, planning inspectorate agreed after he read through the mountain of stuff I include in the appeal. Happy days

Well done for seeing it through.
