Wall Mounted Basin - Tap Connection

This is probably a question for our resident Welsh Pipe Snuffler @Nickfromwales but all views welcome!

 

Manifold based plumbing so no need for 'local' isolation of h/c tap feeds.

Wall mounted basin. Lean, mean, clean and minimal.

 

So what to do with the tap tail connections? There is no need for angled isolation valves or fancy chrome wall isolators (European stylee).

 

I was thinking either:

and simply tile round them and then screw the tap tail to it.

and just lose the entire fitting the other side of the wall?

The negative to that idea would be maintenance of the tap/connection.

   I would bring 10 0r 15mm  pipe through tiled wall and use a cover as above to keep tidy then use BES straight adaptor to chrome flexi.

   Something like  10mm compression  to 3/8 or 15mm to 3/8 male parallel thread.

   Part  no 6664 or  6670

The shower fixing kit is to 3/4" BSP anyway, so no good for a basin unless you bush them down to 1/2"

 

Just use some of these 10mm x 1/2" adaptors and screw the flexes straight on.
