Source of marine grade stainless steel screws

It's been a couple of years since the watertight shell was completed and I am starting to see the effects of the marine environment on the exposed metal work. In particular some of the mild steel screws that have been used around the place are dissolving at an alarming rate. I clearly need to do some preventive maintenance and replace them with some Marine Grade/A4/316 stainless steel versions.

Can anyone recommend a good source ? The usual suspects seem to stock A2 but nothing better.

Try Force4 chandlers. Not sure whereabouts you are but if you have one fairly local then they usually have loose screw, bolts, machine screws, etc as well as blister packs.

Careful buying cheap A4 Gr316 stuff. I've some from the Far East stamped "A4 80" and it's RUSTY!

That has been my experience in the past unfortunately, far to easy to pass off cheap tat as the real thing

TR Fasteners Mallusk, Swift Screws in Belfast, or call in with Graham in Powertran in Ards and he'll get you anything you need.

Thanks for the pointers, some local knowledge will certainly help. This must be a common problem on the peninsula.
