BotusBuild Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I have a need to connect either 32 or 40mm waste pipe to a 110mm soil pipe that I can't disconnect, so been looking at options. The strap on connectors seem to depend on the rubber adapters. I'd rather have a more permanent seal, so looking for a solvent fitting. Found these available in either size. Yay or Nay?
SimonD Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I tend to buy this one: https://mcalpineplumbing.com/traps/condensate-traps-and-fittings/mechanical-soil-and-rainwater-pipe-boss-connector
Russell griffiths Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Don’t fit 32mm, 40 min and reduce to 32 under the basin. 1
Nickfromwales Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Can you get around the soil pipe? Id go for one of these, that clips together at the back, and solvent weld the lot in then. 👍 You can buy these with solvent reducers. Just a pic of the fitting for an example 1
