flanagaj Posted September 10 Posted September 10 I am trying to deduce the junction below and how best to do it with 110mm soil pipe. I want the flow to go in both directions, but didn't want to use an inspection chamber. It's the pipe layout for a drainage field.

nod Posted September 11 Posted September 11 I’ve just installed a TP for a neighbor and had this conversation with BC Id check with BC ours wanted an inspection chamber and ours was only top water If yours is foul I wouldn’t consider not using a chamber 1

The tanks all have internal sampling chambers so unsure why they want one. Did they give a reason?
Marvin Posted September 11 Posted September 11 The fall on the inspection chamber would be the wrong way. They are designed to flow 3 into one not 1 into 3! It may be the requirement for a rodding point and a place to see if the water is dissipating and the drain is not clogged up. I have accesses each end of my surface water soakaway for these reasons. I would have offered two Y junctions with the straight on rising to a rodding point. Good luck M 2
