Glass Balcony Balustrade

Hi

Can anyone advise what thickness of glass is needed for an external Glass Balcony Balustrade in Scotland also the tube dimensions.  I am going to order the attached but just wanted to make sure it met building control standards before I do.

Not sure if the regs in Scotland are different....but in England 'Balconette' suppilied my Glass Balcony Balustrade as 10mm toughened glass which passed the Building control standard ok and their video linked below also says their frameless systems use 21.5mm laminated and toughened glass:- https://www.balconette.co.uk/

All depends on location and wind loading, size of glass panel and height of drop. Really need structural engineer to specify design requirements and go from there.
