JLAB Posted July 29 Posted July 29 Hi All, Attached is a photo of a bathroom I'm due to renovate in August. I'm hoping to reposition the bathtub underneath the window, with a shower over the bath. Is it possible given the positioning of the window to have the shower in close proximity, or will it cause issues with water from the shower? (Please note: Photo looks as if the bathtub wouldn't fit, but I've measured and it does. This is a self renovating project so will be completing the work myself) Thanks
JohnMo Posted July 29 Posted July 29 Everyone may see what you are doing, even with frosted glass, if over looked. Put a dMEV fan in there while you are at. Something like a Greenwood CV2 or 3. Instead of the grill that there now.
Spinny Posted July 29 Posted July 29 Get rid of the bath taps - use a bath filler at the bath overflow. Who wants to bang their legs on taps while showering. Also no taps makes room for a bigger bath. Shower on the non-window side with a fold out shutter to block off part of the window ?
Mike Posted July 29 Posted July 29 Turn the existing bath through 180° so the shower's away from the window? Saves having to get into the bath to open the window too.
Nickfromwales Posted July 30 Posted July 30 Is that room really 1700mm wide? 1500mm and 1600mm "captains" baths suck. You'll have to wash your knees separately after you get out...
