Hello from North Wales (Cottage renovation & extension).

Evening & hello from North Wales,

 

My partner and I are in the process (right at the start) of renovating and extending our cottage.

The plan is to renovate the cottage using plenty of lime and breathable materials and add an extension using more modern materials with some nice large windows.

 

On here to share my ideas, get inspiration & gawp at the lovely houses some of you have.

Attached (hopefully) is a photo taken during our first viewing with the estate agents.

I am not sure if your "cottage" is the building on the left or the right? or do you own the whole lot?

Cottage is to the LHS of the original photo.

Suppose that photo doesn't really show very much. I'll add another.

 

Barns (field stone walls with cracks the size of my face) are also part of the curtilage.

Those barns need saving, if only as a bloody good covered work / storage space (it rains a bit in Wales) Possible future potential for a conversion?
