Pro clima tape residue

Having problems removing tape glue residue from window frames tried various solvents no joy yet, suggestions appreciated

Have you tried the three easy to get hold of solvents?

 

Acetone

White Spirit

Methylated Spirit

Acetone works for me.

Spray foam  gun cleaner works for me. I think it’s acetone

CT1 Multi-Solve spray may be less aggressive.

Just an FYI, acetone may damage upvc. 

My patio door frame did not respond well, the excess decking stain came off the frame easy but the areas touched by acetone are now different.

I am always dubious of products claims, but we have started using the below. Got the tape, left over from COVID, off the floor when all else had failed.
