Russell griffiths Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Evening all, I’ve got a hot return circuit in the house feeding 2 en-suite bathrooms and our boot room, I want to run the pump intermittently rather than on 24/7 putting occupancy sensors in isn’t an option as the house is fully boarded, I want to alter the pump timing at the pump end , so either some form of timer, or some sort of intelligent pump that is programmable. any thoughts people. @Nickfromwales you can keep your oar out. 😝😝 1
JohnMo Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Our pump has its own timer, but cannot see why a simple single channel timer wouldn't do it for you. 1

joth Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Simple timer for waking hours, and a pipe thermostat strapped on the return pipe (a few meters away from the tank) to shut off the pump when the pipework is up to temperature 1

JohnMo Posted March 24 Posted March 24 Lowara Ecocirc pro. It also has the thermostat mentioned by @joth built in, which is adjustable. 1
