Now it is getting dark reasonably early and I don't have lights yet it is noticably dark inside fairly early, I think by 7.30, but it does look like it will be a brighter day so that will help.

 

We can then head to the Punch Bowl afterwards, it is about 1.5 miles away.  I don't think they serve food on a Thursday evening.

 

If 6.30 is too early for some we are close to the cricket club and would be easy to find, I can more details to anyone who might need it.

We can all hold our smartphones up with the torch running just like all those aging rockers do at the end of the gig by the even more aging rock band.  See, being a wrinkly means I’ve learned a thing or two.   Shame that none of it is useful.  See you at the cricket club.  Do I need to be in ‘whites’?
