shuff27 Posted February 25 Posted February 25 I was asked for 10 out of approx 130 submitted. Apart from them all being for over £1k each, I couldn't identify any particular reasons why they should be queried so assume they were selected randomly.

mickeych Posted March 8 Posted March 8 I'm also getting close to the reclaim process. A couple of questions. Our build is a barn conversion that has to be invoiced at 5% and then the 5% is reclaimed. We have been working on a cost plus basis with a main contractor who has invoiced VAT at 5% every month. He has provided every invoice that he has paid over the course of the build to substantiate the costs. Does anyone know if I can just submit the main contractors monthly bill or will I need to enter in the invoices that the main contractor has paid (which were invoiced to him not me).

JustStartingOut Posted May 4 Posted May 4 I have submitted the 15 invoices they wanted, all were the largest amounts. Did they pay the full amount on all the invoices that they didn’t ask for? Did they ask for additional invoices after the initial request? I wonder how deeply they check the requested invoices?
