WiltshireLink
Hi All, part of our planning stipulates no barge boards Now I'm doing the roof, we have the slate/batten coming over the Nudura and it's going to leave a batten visible. Should I use a small dry verge system to finish? Mortar fails often in slate and can't see how that will protect the ends of the batten anyway. Cheers
Conor
We put render board and rendered right up to the slates (with 8mm foam tape between)
WiltshireLink
Cheers Conor but I'm not allowed any boards, it's a planning condition
dpmiller
we went with a continuous dry verge. Have a look at Kytun; ours was supplied by LBS, sized to match their tiles.
Dave Jones
klober do a really nice dry virge, gives a much higher end look than a sea of plastic fascia and barge https://klober.co.uk/dry-verge-and-valleys/dry-verges/p/continuous-dry-verge-s-strip
