Received this from our MVHR installer

I explained to him we really didn't want a ventilated cooker hood so he needs to upgrade what he had planned - fair wnough.

For a normal kitchen it's 13 l/s min ! again this can go up depending on floor area"

Anyone know? There are relatively few passive or near passive standard houses here. It's a learning curve for many, even very good people.

We have a recirculating hob and a MVHR duct above hob (well just behind) The kitchen extract terminal is set  to 52m3/h (roughly the same as you quote above) The hob venting unit has a min max air flow of 154m3/h to 500m3/h with a max boost of 622m3/h.

Not sure why you think you need anything special.

 

Our was set to 13 l/s with 16 l/S boost with a recirculating cooker hood.  But overall we found we were over ventilating the whole house, so it's now closer to 10 l/s for the whole kitchen diner - No issues a year later and very rarely ever use boost.
