But on the positive side the number of domestic primary fires have decreased by 20% over the last 10 years while we can presume the number of batteries installed has increased over that period.

I believe it’s something serious that building regs are looking into due to the increased number of fires caused by batteries, not necessarily solar batteries, but battery fires in general.
