Solar panel installation on small roof

Hi, We would like to install solar panels on a new extension and our garage roof. The garage roof is 1.94 m x 5.5 m and so most panels that we've come across do not fit in portrait (1.7 m + need for 30cm either side), and only two in landscape. Does anyone know of smaller solar panels: 1.3 m in length that would fit better? Would love some advice. None of the eight installers we've contacted have proposed anything but the 1.7 m length panels (some ignoring the 30 cm clearance from edge of roof). Thank you!

What's the direction the roof is facing? What's the pitch? Any shade? 

 

Even if you could squeeze 6 panels on there, would it be viable?

Is it a flat roof?

Lots of different sizes are available. City plumbing are good prices, and have a range of sizes.

Is the roof built yet? If not you can use GSE in-roof trays and put panels in right from ridge to gutter and valley to verge.
