HughF
I ordered my new bedroom windows (Uw 0.98, 3G, upvc - nothing fancy) with 4000mm2 vents fitted to each opener (my fabricator of preference didn’t fit them onto the head), and now I’m looking at replacing the supplied trickle vents with humidity actuated ones. I ordered some from bpc ventilation, can’t remember the exact brand, but they’re too chunky to fit. Does anyone have a recommendation for slimline ones? HughF
Brevis Higroster are on order (or will be this week, when I get that pro-forma) https://brevis-ventilation.com/produkty/ventair-higroster-en/ These look like a very nice vent, and are available in the UK from Brookvent
SteamyTea
How are they powered, eclectically i.e. batteries, or mechanically, i.e. twisted seaweed.
HughF
the latter...
SteamyTea
Be interesting to see how well it works, it does look alright.
Big Jimbo
They look nice. So even when closed they allow 8.4 meters cubed of air. So you always have some form of background ventilation regardless of humidity ? Bet they cost a fair few quid more than the nasty normal One's supplied. Brookvent in Ireland are the UK distributors, getting these out of them has been like getting blood from a stone... Awaiting an order update... The outsides fit perfectly, just the inside that’s the issue
