I ordered my new bedroom windows (Uw 0.98, 3G, upvc - nothing fancy) with 4000mm2 vents fitted to each opener (my fabricator of preference didn’t fit them onto the head), and now I’m looking at replacing the supplied trickle vents with humidity actuated ones.

I ordered some from bpc ventilation, can’t remember the exact brand, but they’re too chunky to fit.

Does anyone have a recommendation for slimline ones?

They look nice. So even when closed they allow 8.4 meters cubed of air. So you always have some form of background ventilation regardless of humidity ?

Bet they cost a fair few quid more than the nasty normal One's supplied.

€45/piece, I’ve got 5 on order. Will report back when they get here.

Brookvent in Ireland are the UK distributors, getting these out of them has been like getting blood from a stone...

Awaiting an order update...

have they moved then? They certainly used to be in a part of the UK...

Apparently they are in Belfast, but my sales contact is based in the republic.

Urghh, always something…. Slots are wider than the mounting holes on the fancy new vents…

I’ll figure something out…

Wondering if I can just glue them on with mitre fast? The outsides fit perfectly, just the inside that’s the issue

Yep, mitre fast and one screw to the rescue…
