House & Contents Insurance

We’re getting quotes between £400 and £1,500 for Home and Contents insurance. We’ve gone to brokers some of who have never heard of SIPs - we’ve gone with plaster and timber as the nearest external wall type. Can anyone recommend someone experienced in SIPs?

We went with LV (via a broker who got a better price than the online one) who don't ask for the build construction (we're ICF.) Was about £250.

We have just finished our SIPs home, can I ask who you went with in the end...our first quote has come in at £1200 so looking for recommendations please - we are in Northern Ireland.

I'm not sure whether they cover NI, but try Frontier Insurance.

Have you tried a broker? We went through Kerr group and got a great price with LV, £350 I think.
