Pv to 2 dc batteries

My SE battery max charge rate is 5kwh .

Is it possible to have 2 SE batteries that ‘share’ the pv input ? . So in theory ( with a large enough pv array ) could charge at 5kw each simultaneously?

To achieve this is it an inverter issue/ config ; a “ how it’s all wired up “ issue , or not possible ?

It’s been suggested on a better forum 😁; this is possible .

Its unclear if it requires another inverter .

Also potentially if both SE batteries were charging and Tesla battery charging and EV charging and house load might push me over my 80A fuse . So fuse requires an upgrade ? - that a DNO issue ??

Can you copy this into the other thread? Most will know your back-story then, Capt. Randomthread!

I deliberately did this as a separate thread as it’s non specific to my setup and avoids the back story . Thought it was simpler this way

I will . Still waiting on that lucrative Netflix contract to come through

Oh sorry @Nickfromwales you’ve obviously been cut out the loop on that one . As Netflix or man sold it to me …

I believe SE recognise the 2 batteries as one 20kW or should I say one 19.4kW battery and both batteries are charged as one.

Unsure if they can be split with just one hybrid inverter but certainly could do with 2 inverters.

Yeah - I’ve been on another forum ( not pornhub ) and apparently it is possible ; need to talk to my installer once they’ve calmed down …

And it’s not (expletive deleted)ing random ! . I’m trying to save a tiny part of the planet using :

technological restrictions

dno restrictions

oh and

limited knowledge

I do better on pornhub as I have more knowledge in that field

Yeah I know I could have 3 batteries. It’s splitting the pv load between them is my question .

Inverter sorts that out. AFAIK theres a comms link between the inverter and the batteries with each battery pack having a charge controller. Black magic takes place and you're batteries get charged.

If its an SE3680H inverter youve got even with 30kwh storage youll still be limited to 3.6kw from the inverter

Been watching Pennyworth, the undertaker eats people's organs for supper.

They look just like the sausage I sell, before they are cooked.

At least Breaking Bad has helped kids pass Chemistry in exams.

My installer has confirmed it ( with 1 inverter ) would be a 5kw charge limit ( as expected ) with excess going to the 2nd battery .

It does reduce the chance of ‘missing’ pv generation of over 3.68 on full dc batteries ….

Got nearly 6 today
