jfb
I asked my plumber for the G3 compliance certificate for an ASHP install with unvented cylinder and he has sent me certificate showing he is proficient with unvented water systems for Bpec. is that what building control will want to see? I was presuming it would be a certificate that was specific to my install.
ProDave
There is a commissioning sheet supplied with the cylinder and can also be downloaded and printed. That needs to be filled in. It asks for qualifications etc of installer amongst other things. That is what BC want.

Sorted.
SimonD
Your installer should either have done a self certification for building regulations compliance (through an appropriate competent person scheme) or registered the install through your local building control to notify them of the installation - that's down to him not you so your BC will want this, not just your commissioning certificate. With just an commissioing certificate you may have to pay BC for an inspection and sign off for it. Edited April 4, 2023 by SimonD
jfb
Thanks Simon. Pretty sure it is all sorted and the relevant paperwork in place. Should know later today after BC come round.
