daiking
I'm being asked to source a falling latch for this gate to replace the sliding bolt type lock. See pictures. I have asked what size the tubes are, still waiting...

How many saddle washers can be found in your bathroom Not a proper solution is it? They say its aluminium but I've no idea. Whatever it is, it will be a standard size for this application. Onoff
This lot in the States are just a distributor for the latch ref "LLABRND" http://www.hooverfence.com/catalog/hardware/lokk-latch-round.htm THE BEST GATE LATCH GOING "ROUND"The popular Lokk-Latch® general-purpose pedestrian gate latch is now available in a version to fit round-posted fences and gates. Best of all, it fits to gate gaps of up to 2", making it ideal for installing to existing gates. Fits 1-3/8" and 1-5/8" gate frames, fits 1-7/8", 2", 2-3/8" and 2-7/8" gate posts. The Lokk-Latch® "Round" is a gravity latch that's stylishly designed to fit most diameters of round post gates and fences. It's ideal for chain link, including gates around houses, tennis courts and farms. Like the regular Lokk-Latch®, the "Round" version takes a radical new approach to the gravity latch principal and combines the benefits of key-lockability and reliable latching action with sleek design and 100% rust-free components. The "External Access Kit" allows the main latch to be operated from outside the fence (but note that locking the Push-Button does not lock the main latch inside the fence). The molded, post-hugging housing imparts a strong, integrated design. Comes with Manufacturer's Limited Lifetime Warranty. I emailed them. They don't know of a UK agent but are happy to quote a shipping cost. Found the same part on this (dubious?) link: https://www.biggiuk.com/dd-lokklatch-for-round-posts-with-external-access-kit-28789-p.asp WTF is the crossed out 2697.30 all about? I'm expected to magic up something before Tuesday so its not just shipping cost that's the issue. I just asked incase someone knew of something obvious that I was completely ignorant of. https://picclick.co.uk/Elgate-Gate-Latch-DLABP-D-Latch-For-Round-Post-171130194005.html Australia Edited July 21, 2017 by daiking
