Alexphd1
Is it a big no no to use appliances from different manufacturers. We are currently looking at three different brands? Edited July 15, 2017 by Alexphd1
RichS
If you like them, fit them.
Onoff
The main issue surely is aesthetics? If you can live with it! We've got a Bosch oven & dishwasher, Hotpoint washing machine, Whirlpool fridge freezer, Frigidaire freezer, Sanyo microwave etc Luckily SWMBO isn't bothered if things don't match.....like the two halves of my face!
ragg987
As long as you are ok with mismatched cosmetic finish, I see no reason why not. E.g. of you go for fitted oven and separate microwave then getting the same handles and front would lend itself to a clean look. But if units are not side by side (hob) or are concealed (dishwasher) then not a concern.
Alexphd1
Oven/warming drawer are from one manufacturer. Hob/extractor/fridge from another and dishwasher is different but it's fully integrated so that doesn't really matter.
Alexphd1
I didn't think it was a problem but a friend commented that would look strange...
Onoff
Seriously...."not finished" doesn't bother her, like "doesn't match" is going to! You will of course end up comparing after service etc and dealing with different call centres.
ryder72
As long as the mixed products dont sit sent to each other as in 2 ovens from different brands its absolutely fine. We offer appliances either as bundles to those who are absolutely set on buying a brand or 'best in category' where they dont match and it makes no difference.
