Same as fuel prices went up 5p in the morning and reduced due to vat in the afternoon.

Look somewhere like insulation hub, I got great service, delivery by local builders merchant for half the builders merchant price to me.

50mm rolls cost £35 in the summer, £48 back in Jan. Add that rise on and that means doubling of price on a year.

There so many profiting out of all this

I called I at a friends steel yard

Very low on stock due to the uncertainty

Hes about a dozen jobs that want fixed prices for supply and fit

He simply can’t do that

He’s working on

Pay for the steel as soon as it lands and he will store till you are ready

I asked to borrow four road plates

He told me he will have to charge me if they get nicked

£400 a piece to replace

Ridiculous prices

It almost feels like we're reaching the end of a salesmans quarter.

Had a concrete man ring me the other day about a farm job I asked for a quote for in April 2021. Politely informed him the work was finished.

I asked him for a current price just in case I needed more. €4 per m3 increase for 35N since then. Hardly an extortionate price hike despite similar warnings of doomsday 12 months ago.
