Some advice

I’ve had an outdoor tap fitted with a press fit fitting and multilayer pipe. The fitting is inside the wall/ cavity  and I’m not comfortable with the idea it could possibly leak in the future and I wouldn’t know.
Should I get a plumber in to redo this? Or just leave it alone? Would soldered fittings be better for this?

I think you have to have a double check valve  ( non return valve) to an outside tap. Some taps have them fitted:

Then again,  I think that if you have a water meter, it may have a non-return valve in it

I would want a stop tap inside.

I am not saying that there is anything wrong with the pipe and fittings used but again I would prefer soldered or one of these:

Good luck
