TonyT
I’m thinking about this as the next stop in my heating upgrade. im no tech Luddite, but do want things to work when the internet drops out,,which is regular for my area. we use Alexa for playing general music in the house, so have about 5 of them scattered about. I see the Tado system works with Alexa, but do these units normally work with an app on a phone or say a central tablet too? 15 radiators/towel rails in total so would add some over a few years assuming that they keep old technology supported? any pointers in the smart trv area? Dave Jones
i have the Hive system from british gas, its very easy to install. The rad trv's are excellent as they allow you to manage heat in different rooms much easier.

There's several threads on it e.g.
