gravelrash Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 On with build and soon will need to build in roof web joists. Are web joists ok to be rained on? How much can they survive? Anybody got ideas to protect them as they are going to be open to weather for a month
Russell griffiths Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 Mine was rained on for a lot longer than that. Jusr ensure it’s all dry before you start sealing it all up from inside.
ToughButterCup Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 Mine were exposed for far longer than most. Chippy told me not to worry.
saveasteading Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 If it doesn't show any signs of decay then all is well....for the moment. Better left out in the air so it can dry intermittently than encased in any screen, so the best thing you can do is progress.
