November 1, 20214 yr Hi. What is the best way to fix a 8inch square timber to a block wall. I need something that will go through the timber squeezing it to the wall. my gate is hanging on the timber but the timber is now a bit rotten at the base .. thinking I could bolt it to the wall..??!
