ETC
Plus 225mm for droppings below the lowest DPC.

It's a good point and I'm not sure how to mitigate that as 225mm above the top of the lean mix would be touching the vertical DPC. Any ideas? ETC
Stepped DPC/ move DPM above the floor insulation. Also your DPC in the outer leaf is too low.

To act as VCL and keep concrete slurry from going in between imperfections in insulation.

A lot of floating insulation carrying up any reinforcement and also pipes if you have UFH.

Id second that both these points. Note this would only alllow 75mm brick course to FFL for tamping screed. Perhaps lower insulation by 25mm or so for a 100mm screed. saveasteading
Have seen it happen...lucky I arrived to save the day. The usual problem of too much water in the mix. It pushed down again. sealing the joints or polythene over is such a good and simple thing.
Gordo
Was just thinking there. This floor makeup really suits timber frame with services in walls (not a fan). But with the traditional cavity wall construction a lot of services would I guess be in floor screed? The plumber will likely want to fix these down for screeding operation. Maybe best to consider a concrete sub-floor with DPM under. Anyone got some thoughts/input on this? Edited October 29, 2021 by Gordo
