Bob Janner
Hello I am 66 and retired. We are living our fith house and after a busy eight years getting it how we want it I have settled down just recreational diy. That was until our son and Daughter inlaw had a quote to refurbish their ensuite. For the estimated 8 to 10 days the labour part of the quote seemed very high, even at today's prices, so dad was persuaded to dust off his tools and pitch in. I have joined thus community to ask about a particular aspect of the project, which I will post in the relevant section. I chose this forum, because the contributors seem genuinely keen to offer advice, rather then the " well you should have got in a professional mate" that you sometimes get with other forums. Onoff
I thought it said challenged dad... 8-10 years seems a fair estimate for this job. 1

Too be fair I thought 8 - 10 years was rather quick ! @Bob Janner I think your son needs to consider walk on glazing in the bathroom . Whilst that sounds like a high cost item it doesn’t have to be .
