gravelrash Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 anybody used Zig Zag Plastic Chairs for placing reinforcing mesh on EPS foundation insulation? any problems standing on mesh during concrete pour?
saveasteading Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 I am not aware of this zig-zag product. reference please? I like these for the precision but concrete contractors like these as they are much faster.
Tom Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 We're using mars bars for our pour on to EPS: https://tzursteel.co.uk/products/concrete-square-bar?variant=31227315028026 Then these deck chairs between the two layers of mesh: https://tzursteel.co.uk/products/continuous-wire-chair-2m-lengths-each-spacer-from-50mm-to?variant=27962143571991

Conor Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 Our contactor used a combo of Mars bars and steel deck chairs. Mara bars to protect the tanking membrane and to bring the decks up to the right height.
Ronan 1 Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 Mars bars are the right tool for the job for placing on the insulation. Just use them nice and stable no overturning or damage to insulation.
