Where to place Isolator Switch

The Meter box has now been installed and Npower have installed the cable and the 3 fuses for our three phase supply.

 

I have ordered a meter from Eon, not sure if it will be single or three phase, but we only need a single phase to start with.

 

We are looking at having the fuse box approx 8 metres of cable run away from where the meter will be located so I understand I need an Isolator switch.

 

Has anyone had this setup and can the isolator switch be in the same meter box or is a separate box required and if a separate box is required does it have to be externally or internally located.

A Switch Fuse is what you need.
