Restraining easy joist on block partition wall

building with web joist warm roof system, the joists sit in cavity seals on inner cavity wall and the other end on top of block partition wall. the joists need retaining on the partition- anybody any experience of similar? I can not use a timber wall plate as that would lift joist too high in cavity wall.

You may need a rim board or blocking between the joists and restraint straps running down the masonry.  Did you get the roof designed?  These details are normally part of the design.

Twisted restraint strap, fits to side of joists every 1200 and into blockwork, blocking between joists so it all acts as one.

Our design was to hang them on a rim board. EziJoist will help you with the design if you ask them.... I had a bit of an issue with mine and they were very helpful.
