I'm having a Resin Bound patio laid and was wondering how far beneath the DPC the surface needs to be?

I understand that the Resin Bound is permeable so there should be no issues with puddling, any info?

resin bound is permeable (we're planning to have it for our driveway which is SUDS compliant) assuming you have a permeable sub-base that is. it won't be permeable if you put Type 1 underneath it though surely.

I can't answer the DPC question really either but logic dictates that it should be no different to any other patio surface.

I think the regs state 150mm (or two courses) below DPC

I once knew an architect who use 75mm between g/l and dpc

if you have a cavity wall there is additional protection , best to slope away from your house/building

Other way around........DPC (in the external wall) to be 150mm above FGL.....same difference........
