Happy Valley Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 Which Structural Warranty provider have you used for ICF construction please?
Adam2 Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 Protek - though I think I saw they are not taking new business at the mo. Called them this week and super helpful to extend my building insurance. 1
Conor Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 I couldn't find any that would do both ICF and basements. So that's why I went with a main contractor as they'll provide it.
ICF Self Build Northum Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 We're using Buildzone who is covering our ICF self build construction.
Sandybay Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 A question of time?? At the moment I have a strip foundation in place for an Icf build (145sqm) Simple rectangle. Potential builder said it would take 4 men two weeks to build fist two courses of blocks put in services drainage and suspended subfloor of 200mm of concrete and steel mesh? Any thoughts??

Happy Valley Posted April 16, 2021 Author Posted April 16, 2021 I have a quote now from SelfBuild Zone and for the Structural Warranty they want just short of £1900 for the 10 year policy and £1650 for site inspections for 192 sq m build. How does that fair with others?
