Pocster
I’m putting in noggins ready for the plasterboard ceiling . What should I do where sloped plasterboard meets horizontal ceiling ? A noggin at the top ( and bottom ) for the slope . Another noggin at the top for the ceiling ? . Just seems wasteful and awkward - or is it simply the way ? Edited February 17, 2021 by pocster

I’ll use more noggins and put the ceiling pb up first . Then at least the sloped pb will offer some support at the joint ( ceiling to slope ) . Probably over thinking it as it avoids doing the work ? Will it fall down? ? The upstairs 4 rooms in the dormer are 9.5mm pb on walls AND ceiling. The proverbial plasterboard tent.

Pocster
Assume the gap between the 2 boards I leave for the plasterer to sort rather than me balls it up ?
