GrantMcscott
Hi I am going to be getting my fresh water from a tank supplied by a spring higher up in a field. I need a filter to remove any debris from the water this filter can be put in the house or outside if possible. Also planning on installing a UV filter to kill bacteria. Does anyone have any experience and recommendations in this area or even a filter that does both bacteria and debris thanks

I have seen a lot of installations and mine is the smallest to date, just editing as you could take the pipework out of the box on the LHS and mount the UV control unit above and make the box a bit taller but thinner. jamieled
I'd recommend mounting the uv filter in such a way that you can easily slide the quartz sleeve and lamp in and out. This would need about twice the length of the uv frame itself. Otherwise you need to remove the whole thing and remove plumbing connections. I also treat water for my private supply, but my setup is much larger than cpds due to the filters I need, so not much inspiration to you. If you're looking for ideas it might be worth speaking to the highland pump centre in Inverness as they deal with this sort of thing.

The front of my box just lifts off and the lid is secured by just two screws.

So this website fountain-filters.co.uk/Private+Water+Supplies/0_CAAA004.htm but do not know how big the filters are
