J1mbo Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Water pipes feeding ASHP are insulated using Climaflex or similar of course but how should lever valves and strainers be insulated?
TonyT Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 https://theinsulationshop.co.uk/collections/flexible-insulation-valve-jackets we use these in our plant rooms, they will do various other options
PeterW Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Have them inside not outside.... just put a pair of connections through the wall

Just for info, Climaflex isn’t rated for outdoor use - you need a nitrile rubber insulation preferably with a jacket or coating.

We used tape self amalgamating in BT to waterproof cable joints .
