Vijay
Need to look at my internal walls next which will be in 7.3nm blocks. I just wondered if there's any preferred blocks to use? I'm assuming medium density blocks just cos of the lighter weight of them compared to dense blocks, but any other reasons like sound insulation etc.? Cheers Vijay
tonyshouse
I hate all aerated blocks and won’t use them, they crack far to easily. I prefer medium density recycled aggregate blocks 3.5N are. Ok 7N also available. nice to lay, nice to fix into - practically perfect in every way
wozza
We used Fibolite blocks.
Vijay
Cheers guys. From what I have read on an old post, Fibolite are aerated blocks?
Vijay
Can anyone confirm that medium density concrete blocks are around 13-14KG and dense blocks are around 19KG?

This is correct. Building internal walls in 19kg blocks is unusual for a regular house.

I used some 19KG blocks for the rising wall - no intention of using them for the internal walls, it would finish me off!!! lol
