Shedstove
Hi! I'm creating a Covid refuge in my shed, and would greatly appreciate advice on my wood burner. (See photo) I've installed thai big heavy wood stove but to my surprise this stove has no maker's name or plate attached. So I can't find out how to check if I need spares - esp. if it needs baffles or fire bricks (neither of which it has at the moment). With a straight up flue it's working OK would baffles and firebricks make it better? I would dearly like to know the make. Thanks.
ProDave
Where did you get it? There should be some form of baffles, not just a hole in the top going straight up to the flue. Even the ultra cheap Chinese stove we fitted into our static caravan had cast iron baffles and it worked well, though no doubt not the most efficient. Russell griffiths
Any fire bricks will fit, just trim to size with a grinder, I did mine last year.

bassanclan
It looks like a Herald Hunter https://www.stovesareus.co.uk/hunter-herald-8-woodburning-stove.html They do a number of sizes etc so a quick measure up may help
