Kernow
Has anyone here used Jackon’s Thermomur 350 ICF and give me any feedback on it? Thanks
Alexphd1
That's a new one to me. Looks like it's made in Germany. Looks a pretty standard icf product.
Russell griffiths
I have heard on the icf grapevine that the plastic cross ties can be a problem when pouring concrete, i was told the flat surface on the top of the ties holds concrete, so it’s possible to get voids, and also on your second pour you end up with lots of dry snots that then break off and fall into the cavity. Just what i was told never used it.
BotusBuild
I was considering it, but didn't get a good feeling from my initial inquiries. Seems the UK side if things is just a sales arm, and they couldn't get their figure correct. A partner(?) contractor they put me in touch responded once then went dark, and when I ask the UK office for more technical info, they were not forthcoming. I saw the product at the Swindon NSBRC site and liked the fact they had the raft insulation and ICF wall system that seem well integrated.
