Framing nails

I finally bite the bullet & bought a dewalt 1st fix nailer. is there any recommendations for cheap suppliers of nails (no gas needed).

They seem to work fine with my dewalt. Prices are often better than those quoted by 'private' sellers on E-bay and (I think) that, if for a new build, you can reclaim your VAT on these. You only need to buy a couple of boxes (£50) to qualify for free delivery.

I got my nails from my local BM, but prices on eBay can be very good. I found that Screwfix etc weren't all that great in this department- very basic selection available.

I got all of mine on gumtree.

Average £30 a box for paslode (with gas). also used rawplug ones which we're just as good.

Make sure the gas is in date, stamped on the bottom of the cylinder.

Like Neil above I use firmahold for my paslode and they are much cheaper than paslode nails, no problems with quality.
