There's a couple of details I'd do differently if doing it again. I've used lead flashing over the top of the windows, lapped up onder the cladding; a proper aluminium pressing would be better, like the ones you linked to. I did the cladding a couple of years before I got round to fitting cills, so fitted the cills between the cladding reveals. I should really have taken the reveals off and fitted over the top of the cill. That is very nice! Love the galvanised guttering too. I'll keep this image to hand. 1

I was also thinking of lead but unsure how to do this properly? Ie; junction with membrane. Also considering aluminium but I can’t find anything wide enough ie; 38mm batten + 19mm cladding =57mm out. Any advice really appreciated.
Redbeard
A metal fabricator will make pretty well anything you want assuming they have the right equipment. I have used edge trims and extension cills in white anodised aluminium. I got mine via an EWI supplier but they were made to order by a metal fab'r. Check out your local fab shop. Very happy with how it turned out Looks good. I’m about to do This and struggling to work out how to fix the top timber reveal and the drip. My window is flush to the opening in the timber frame so the reveal will need to attach to the battens so can’t work out how to attach the drip and the reveal. Also interested whether you can share your drip design as looking to get something made up too. many thanks

I was working in okehampton on Friday so i could pick up, i ordered it the week before. I provided them with the cad drawing of the size / angle I wanted and they made it up. Not bad for 16 quid. Nice. I didn’t have the wherewithal for that so used DPC lapped over the head. It doesn’t have the side upstands but seems to be working. I had cause to take a few boards off recently on the window that gets the worst of the wind and rain and it was dry.
