Robert Clark
Hi Guys How much do you think for labour only to fit an unvented cylinder in a first floor airing cupboard ? All pipe work other than the external pressure relief pipes are already there. There is nothing to remove. Job is in Sussex Have been quoted £700 labour (not vat registered) plus materials. Thanks Edited April 24, 2020 by Robert Clark Missing word
Jeremy Harris
It's roughly a day's work, unlikely to be any more if everything is there. The gotcha might be running the drain pipe, as that may be a bit of work to run in accordance with the regs.

Unlikely to be more than that, I'd have thought. Plumbers around here charge less than that, usually around £250/day, less for larger jobs, perhaps.
ProDave
I would say £300 per day would be plenty. But this is "the south"
Oz07
I know a plumber in the south earning 6 figures a year on new build work. That's roughly 400 a day. Then again guys up here earning less than 200. @Nickfromwales might know the rates better is he still about?
