dpmiller Posted December 5, 2019 Posted December 5, 2019 just checking ... you do have the box upright, handle-up? I've pulled tens of boxes of cat5 over the years and only very rarely get a kink. And of those, I've never had one cause a cable fault.

It looks like the cable has somehow been ‘crushed’ when placed on the reel . When it jams - a usually gentle tug pulls it out . The force I use couldn’t cause that kind of damage . As I said I tried their stranded roll - no issues . So assume not me being very very very thick ! Edited December 5, 2019 by pocster Thick
