Russell griffiths
Evening all, I’m being lazy and can’t be bothered to look it up, does anybody know the load rating for pir insulation, in so much as being used under a floor screed, if I was using eps it would either be eps 70 or 100. Does pir have a load rating. Cheers russ.
Nick1c
I was short of a couple of sheets of eps 100 for our slab & couldn’t get any locally so I called the SE, he was happy with PIR, but it had to be covered so the concrete didn’t attack the foil.
Temp
Celotex say 120-150 kPa in here depending on version. https://www.just-insulation.com/downloads/celotex-rigid-insulation/celotex-certification/bba-certificate-flooring-14-nov.pdf
Ed Davies
That's for versions of Celotex specifically intended for floor insulation with a deformation of 10% so probably not even remotely applicable to other versions at sane levels of deformation.
