+1 on Wago boxes and connectors. S'fix do a useful starter kit but you'll need to buy boxes. TCL sell the connectors individually. Check out the Wago videos.

Thus is useful kit too:

No good of course of tiling or laminate flooring afterward. Armeg is just one make, mine is another (Super Rod). For a few holes here and there T'station do this:

I prefer my make as it uses galvanised steel discs.

I've got some wago connectors left after my last wiring repair but I won't be doing 'owt.

Wait until the day you decide to "address from below" and drill upward and nick the T&E! :)

That won't happen because all the cables are neatly clipped and out of the way.  Oh wait...

And now it goes to rat shit anyway. Came home to find a load of plasterboard ready for plastering tomorrow which is not what I expected. Also they didn't need to remove any ceiling from below so there's less fixing up to do. So i've pointed this out and got a discount but I've still got that knot in my stomach of here we go again.

floor is solid now and they've reboarded about 2/3 of the room. Don't think the door is any squarer though so we'll have to live with it. Would only need fixing if we come to sell as a surveyor would spot it. Best foot forward and all that.

All done bar the shouting now. Just waiting for the plaster to dry before decorating.

Loads of stuff I coulda/shoulda done at the time but wasn't worth the hassle. Removed some redundant piping and pulled my smoke alarm cable through which are a good start.
