Need to finish the house first! Me too. Can't help thinking it's back to front, though. You want the workshop before starting on the house. One of many things I'd do differently knowing what I know now.

His garage is larger than my house though. So when it comes time to build one, I shall take his old car out and build my dream house in the dry. 1
joe90 Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 As @SteamyTea said I built my workshop before the cottage, partly because we were fighting for planning but was able to start the garage under permitted development (which the council fought, and lost). It was a great advantage having somewhere dry and secure fir my tools and building stuff as well as a 20’ container.
